A separate cottage just steps from the main one which has two stories, including a bright loft with two queen beds, its own 3‑piece bath, kitchenette, Smart TV, couch, and foosball table.

Teens can stay up late, grandparents can sleep in—everyone wins.

Life on the Lake

Enjoy your time away from the hustle of the city. Go for a swim, a paddle, read a book, have a fire, play some games, watch the boats go by!! Enjoy things slowing down while still having access to work remotely and stream those shows you just can’t miss!

400 sq ft perch atop the boathouse. Read, sunbathe, or stargaze.

Private Dock

Bring your boat or rent locally. Tie up safely, then paddle off in our canoe or two kayaks.

Up to three vehicles fit easily in the private drive.

Well trained fur family members are typically welcome, please reach out ahead of time so we can discuss.

Bring towels, personal items (tooth brush, tooth paste etc). Bedding, and basic pantry staples (salt, pepper, oil, coffee filters) are supplied.

Yes we allow weekend rentals during non peak season. Victoria Day weekend through to Labour Day weekend is peak season, during which time we rent by the full week. If however we are less than two weeks out and it is still available we are happy to rent by the weekend.

YES!! Many guests have brought their own boat and you can get fuel on the lake at the Opinicon Hotel. You are also part of the Rideau Canal system so it is a beautiful boat ride to neighbouring spots like Westport!
